When and where is Sunday morning worship held?
Currently, Sunday morning worship takes place at the Common Ground Midtown sanctuary at 9:00 & 11:00 AM in person and online at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings. Our church is located at 4550 N Illinois St. in Indianapolis.
On many Fifth Sundays, instead of having services, we engage in fellowship activities known as Fifth Sunday Fellowship. Check out our Midtown events page for upcoming gatherings.
On occasion, we will host Sunday morning worship in the park. Visit our Midtown events page for information on those upcoming dates.
Where should I park and/or enter the church?
Our parking lot is located off of 46th Street, on the west side of the building. Accessible parking and an accessible entrance are located on the south side of the parking lot. Street parking is also available on Buckingham and Illinois Streets.
At this time, we do not provide transportation to church. However, we are located on IndyGo bus route 18 and bus route 28, and we are only 0.8 miles from the Red Line.
Is there something offered for children on Sundays?
Yes! Our children’s ministry is available on Sunday mornings (except during the months of June and July). Please contact our children’s ministry director, Lynne Smiley, with questions.

Is there a way to worship at home on Sunday mornings?
Yes! We livestream our Sunday morning worship service for those who are unable to join us in person. Our livestream will be available at 11:00 AM on both our Facebook page, and via our online church platform found here.
On occasion, we may worship in Tarkington Park. Please note that on those days, the service will not be livestreamed.
Is there a dress code?
Our church is fairly casual and we invite our Sunday morning worship attendees to dress as they feel comfortable.
