Sandee Falk (Ministry Partner)

Sandee Falk is serving with The Navigators, in Encore, whose mission is to advance the gospel of Jesus and his kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. Our mission, Encore, allows Sandee to continue laboring in the harvest helping the younger generation while continuing to grow herself and finish the race in God's strength. She and her husband, Jim, have been a part of the Common Ground family since 2013, until he was called to his heavenly home in 2022.

Sandee has been a part of CG women's gatherings since their inception and she loves working with Pastor Hazel. God has specifically gifted Sandee to be a shepherd, coming alongside women and empowering them to embrace their identity in Christ and live into their designed destiny.  When she is not leading Bible studies or mentoring women one-on-one, she enjoys reading historical fiction, writing poetry, writing letters of encouragement, and is currently taking line dancing classes. Sandee is deeply grateful to her Common Ground family who has faithfully encouraged her and walked alongside her, especially in these past two years of shadowlands.

Mackenzie Harmon (Ministry Partner)

Mackenzie Harmon is a Campus Staff Minister for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at college campuses around Indianapolis. She works primarily at Marian University and IUPUI. She has been working for InterVarsity since 2019 and has lived in Indy with her husband since 2021. They have been attending Common Ground Midtown since she moved to Indy and she serves as a house church leader.

The purpose of InterVarsity is to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed. They seek to establish witnessing communities on every corner of campuses through developing students and faculty/staff as followers of Jesus and faith leaders among their peers. In other words, Mackenzie spends a lot of time doing Bible studies with students, teaching them how to pray, helping them be brave in their witness to their friends, helping them navigate transition and conflict well, gathering them in community to support one another, and more.

Scott & Joann R.

Scott and Joann R. were sent by Common Ground on short-term mission trips to Lebanon in 2014, 2015, and 2017, and in 2018 to live and serve there, offering pastoral care to the multi-cultural ministry team at YFC Lebanon and co-pastoring an international church. They have been part of the body at CG Midtown since 2014. They previously served together in campus ministry at Colorado State University and co-pastored a church plant in Romania in the 1990s (when they moved there, their daughter, Johanna Dix, was less than a year old!). In the marketplace, Scott has served as an engineer, product manager, and training manager, and Joann has experience as an occupational therapist.

Scott and Joann joined Barnabas International in 2020, and serve as spiritual companions for ministry workers and national ministry leaders serving cross-culturally through online sessions and on-field visits, retreat/workshop facilitation, debriefing, and spiritual direction. In addition, they currently serve on a ministry team within Barnabas, which offers a theological foundations of member care training cohort called Shepherd’s Apprentice, equipping those who care for global workers in least-reached and least-resourced areas of the world. They come alongside workers ministering in challenging places so they can deepen their connection to the Triune God, walk in joy, and minister out of the overflow of the Father’s love.
